Enjoy Festive Gameplay in the Arcade
Winter Wonderland brings festive game modes to Overwatch 2 this holiday season, featuring four returning event favourites! If this is your first time experiencing the holiday season in the game, read on to discover how to enjoy these thrilling game modes in the Arcade.
Get ready for tactical eliminations and quirky strategies in Mei’s Snowball Offensive. Armed with snowballs that instantly take out opponents with a single hit, use Ice Walls and Cryo-Freeze to defend yourself from elimination. If you miss your shot, seek out fresh snow to reload. Unleash a frosty frenzy by launching your Ultimate and rapidly firing several snowballs in succession. Play in a team with a 5v5 Elimination Ruleset or showcase your snowball skills in a solo free-for-all Deathmatch.
Embark on a hunt for a meat-craving Yeti in Yeti Hunt, a unique 5v1 PVP brawl. One player takes on the role of the Yeti (Winston) searching for scattered meat across the map. When the Yeti goes into a primal frenzy, opponents will scramble for cover while a team of five Meis attempts to freeze, trap, and neutralise the Yeti.
And lastly, cool off with Freeze-Flash Elimination, a frosty twist on “freeze-tag.” In this 5v5 elimination game mode, heroes don’t get eliminated when their health runs out; instead, they’ll be frozen solid. It’s up to their teammates to thaw them out without getting frozen themselves. The team that successfully freezes the entire opponent team wins the round—first to three rounds wins the game.
Play Mei’s Snowball Offensive, Yeti Hunt, and Freeze Flash elimination to tackle challenges and earn bonus XP for the Season 8 Battle Pass. And as you play, progress through the Winter Fair awaits!

This season, we’re launching the Winter Fair Event Pass – an innovative way to unlock Holiday-themed rewards. As you play games of Overwatch 2, you’ll earn tickets to spend at the Winter Fair and claim rewards that suit your fancy. You'll earn tickets for every nine games played, with wins counting for double.
Opt for the free track and earn sufficient tickets to redeem a single free legendary skin of your choice. Select from the elegant Formalwear Legendary skins for Cassidy or Baptiste, or indulge in the snug Winter Jammies Illari Legendary skin.
If you're aiming for more, upgrade to the Premium track for 500 Overwatch Coins to gain extra tickets and access up to three additional Legendary skins along with other cosmetic items. Discover new additions such as the Legendary Wrapping Paper Reinhardt, or grab the Legendary Kerrigan Widowmaker skin, inspired by the StarCraft® hero.
Ensure you use your earned tickets for these exclusive cosmetics before they vanish! You can utilise your tickets to purchase items at the Winter Fair, starting a week after the Winter Wonderland event. After January 15, any remaining unused tickets will convert to Overwatch Credits, which you can spend on classic Overwatch cosmetics available in the Hero Gallery.
